Day 10: Drive from Kande Beach to Chitimba

It was only about a 4 hour drive from Kande to Chitimba where I am now. (still on Lake Malawi) The campsite is nicer here i’d say but the beach is a longer walk and the water isnt as nice and clear, still lovely and warm and pretty though :)

Chitimba we have just been relaxing the whole time including

Day 11:

We have just been shopping and bargining with the guys at the markets just outside the campsites gates, i have some xmas pressies now yay! And we have been swimming and drinking and internetting and it’s been really nice!!

It gets so hot here though, by 6, 7am the sun is high and we are hot! The sand gets really hot too and because the walk to the beach is a few hundred metres across sand it makes me more reluctant to swim haha but we still went in a few times.

This afternoon a group of us went in Lake Malawi and then all these little local boys came in and were playing with us and jumping off the guys shoulders, was pretty cool.

We have to leave at 5am tomorrow sonwe are pretty much all packed now and ready to go. Blah.

Two more big driving days ahead then Zanzibar!!! Yeahhh!!!

Will post blogs when I can. :) xoxo
