Livingstone, I presume…

Day 4: Livingstone!

We arrived in Livingstone today, a very small town with dirt roads but we are at quite a swanky campsite with a nice bar area and pool!
We arrived and found out we could book activities through this lady above the bar so we went up and booked something right away… The lion Walk!!

They have a program that is trying to breed more lions because there was a 90% species drop in the last 30 years! We get to walk with lions that are under 18 months old so its safe for us. So we go out into the wild and find the lions just relaxing by some bushes. There are lots of trainers with us so we are safe, (dont worry mum). Because they are relaxed and not active we are allowed to approach them and pat them and get photos! We have soo many great lion photos :) Then we went on a walk with them and were patting them while we walked and it was pretty awesome. It started to rain but that made it even more awesome because it was so hot and it just seemed like all part of the wild African experience haha.

Then we came back and ate and met our tour group… Seems like an okay group haha glad im with steph and not alone though… :p
